The Colony is an immaculately restored and appointed Victorian villa with picture-perfect views of Table Mountain. Sleeps 12, self-catering.

The Colony suits large business or family parties best and is an ideal base to explore both the City (2 mins drive) and the Western Cape (N1 highway, 3 mins). Set above the elegant inner city suburbs of Tamboerskloof and Gardens, the Colony overlooks streets of boutiques, cafés, cinemas, theatres and restaurants some just a stroll away. History and nature are also close by both the old Malay quarter, Bo Kaap, and the Table Mountain Cableway are five minutes away. Five more and youre on a palm-fringed beach, watching the sun go down.
In contrast, equally close is Cape Towns business district (5 mins) and Convention Centre (8 mins). But for now, imagine a coffee at The Daily Deli across the road, followed by a browse through the Greenmarket Square craft market (5 mins), a stroll past the Cathedral to Cape Towns Museum Mile (5 mins), a sundowner at Hemisphere (31 floors up on Long St, 7 mins) and a culinary performance at The Showroom (Chiappini St, 7 mins), followed by jazz & a cigar at Kennedys (Long St, 5 mins) - or maybe marimbas at Mama Afrika (Long St, 5 min).
For other days, the historic Waterfront and the Robben Island Ferry are close by (10 mins). Or visit some of Cape Towns 50 beaches, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens (20 min a must), Cape Point (1 hr), the Winelands (45 mins) and many other options! Welcome to Cape Town and the Western Cape!
